Cancellation Policy:

• If you need to cancel or reschedule your Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine or Telemedicine appointment, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required.
• Missed, cancelled or rescheduled appointments with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full.
•  You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours of your appointment time in the Patient Login Area without charge. You may also do so by telephone or text message to 078 934 34 04 during office hours.
• Cancelled, rescheduled and booked appointments are alway confirmed by email.

 Payment:

• Payment in full is due within 10 days of the appointment date. Invoices are generated and sent out via email on the same day of appointment date.
• Included with the invoice are all the necessary paperwork for you to send to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Privacy Statement:

The folowing explains how we use and store the information that you provide us with when you come for treatment and use our website.

1. We use your name, address, telephone number and email address to make or reschedule appointments.
2. Please be aware that if you use our ‘contact us’ form or send an email, these mediums are not encrypted.
3. The initial patient ‘intake form’ which we email to new patients is encrypted.
4. Patient information collected during consultation, including dates of attendance, are stored on a computer protected by password that only Mandy Curran has access to. Any paper notes generated during an appointment are stored in a locked filing cabinet that only Mandy Curran has access to. Paper notes that are transformed into digital notes are destroyed by fire. Your information is stored for seven years if you are an adult, and in the cases of children for an additional seven years once a child reaches the age of 18. This is in accordance with the code of professional conduct of the registers Mandy Curran is a member of as listed in the  ‘About Me‘ section.
5. We collect your Doctors name and address which is stored with your file in the event of an emergency.
6. In cases of referrals, we will only share or discuss your information if you specifically request us to do so.
7. Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential. In exceptional circumstances, when there is a legal obligation, relevant parts of your information may be shared with:

• • named third parties with your consent only.
  •  the relevant authorities due to a court order.
  •  your doctor, emergency services or the police to protect yours or another persons life.

End of Privacy Statement

Mandy Curran Chinese Medicine (registered member of EMR and SNE) is recognised by most Swiss Health Insurance companies for the ‘Alternative Medicine Add-on’.

It is the patients responsibility to check that their policy covers the therapy as well as the therapist prior to booking. Due to data protection we cannot request this information from your insurance company on your behalf.

End of Insurance Information
